BUSINESS PEOPLE PUT ISSUES OF
SPIRIT AND INTEGRITY ON THE TABLE

Phoenix is about to witness the launching of the Inner Excellence Roundtable, a new monthly group for business people who wish to converse informally on topics related to values, spirituality, and quality of life.

Hosted in Phoenix by Judy Gifford, Director of FindingStone Counseling Center and Stephan A. George of Hewlett-Packard Co., the Roundtable was inspired by the philosophy of Carol Orsborn, author of How Would Confucius Ask for a Raise and Solved by Sunset

For ten years and five books, author Carol Orsborn has been urging business people to take time out of their busy lives to recharge their spirits.  Phoenix's Roundtable is modeled on a group Orsborn started last May in Nashville, which has now spawned similar groups across the country.  The group has attracted a diverse group of up  to 45 attendee's a month, ranging from college deans and healthcare CEO's to music industry executives and entrepreneurs. The group has no dues or ongoing commitments.

The group will meet the third Thursday of every month at a restaurant which will accomodate us in a private room.   Attendance will be by advance reservation only. The next luncheon will be held inwpe1.gif (2437 bytes) November (more details to follow), addressing the topic:

Using competition to bring out the best in everyone.

Other subjects addressed by the group may include:

Sometimes, good guys win.

Putting the hidden agenda on the table...gently.

The spirit in business opens the mind and the heart to opportunity.
